A Brief History

The Type House was formed in 1976 as a typesetting and camera graphics company. With the advent of the Macintosh in 1984, the industry has changed dramatically and so, too, has The Type House.

In an effort to meet the needs of our clients, we added large format inkjet graphics, laminating/mounting, and short-run color printing to our product and service base as those products became available and popular.

Most recently we have added the following to our products and services:
• Multimedia creation and programming
• Black and white digital printing
• Expanded binding capabilities
• Tradeshow Exhibits

In all of these areas we continue to use professional proofreaders to maintain quality in items we create
in-house and to scan for obvious questions in items created by our clients and printed by our staff. This includes color questions when producing inkjets or color printing.

Our primary business goal is to provide our clients a quality product, on a timely basis, and at a fair price. Accordingly, open communication between our clients and our staff is important to us, as we strive to provide our service in the most efficient manner possible.
